The more religious stories/sayings I hear the more I realize that it's all about "Vanity", I can hear this little voice in the background saying "I am so special, the most powerful entity in existence created this whole universe, for Me, a pitiful, blind, lost, pathetic little weakling like Me, and if I follow his simple little plan he will love Me, and let me live, Forever, Yay" The little voice sounds like that of a child, even though it may be coming from an old man, what do they call it, the Peter Pan syndrome? sort of a "I don't wanna grow up I'm a jesus is us kid" How old does a person have to be before they start looking at things through adult eyes, realistically and scientifically with intelligence and common sense? When the religious gets their heads out of the clouds and back down here on earth, we will all benefit from it by getting on with making this planet more people friendly, and less "THE END IS NEAR" panicked frenzy that we're living in today.

Have you seen this miniseries?
The Second Coming starring Christopher Eccleston? Here's the imdb link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0353104/
The Plymouth Library has it. You should (pardon the pun) check it out.
The Second Coming
No I haven't, could be interesting,,,
would you like a free issue of Freethought Today? just got my February issue, so far every issue has had at least one eye opening article, all I have to do is give them your address, though it may put you on the mailing list for Humanist organization advertisements, just a little more junk mail for the trash, though some interesting stuff may come your way, I got a questionnaire from the ACLU the other day about what I thought our new presidents' directions should be, that once tallied will be sent to the White House, and an app for their magazine (of coarse), stuff like that.
